Two part-time, term-time only Early Years' Practitioner Level 2/3 roles

Stockton House School (pre-school) in Fleet, Hampshire is excited to announce that we have vacancies for two part-time, term-time only Early Years’ Practitioners with an immediate start. 

 

Our pre-school offers a unique working environment including 4.5 acres of private woodland grounds, Muddy Acorns our new forest school, and small individual classes for the children to flourish, where the care and education of our children is a top priority together with staff well-being and professional development. 

 

As an Early Years Practitioner your duties will include but not be exhaustive to:

  • Working together as a team
  • Planning, preparing and delivering the Early Years’ foundation stage through “in-the-moment planning”
  • Acting as keyperson to a small group of children
  • Working closely with parents and outside agencies
  • Assisting with lunch duties on a rota-basis
  • Engaging in both indoor and outdoor play

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least two years early years’ working experience
  • Minimum full and relevant Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years (Early Years’ degree desirable)
  • A current, valid Paediatric First Aid qualification.
  • A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures

The scheduled working hours will be term-time only, and either

 

Monday 8.30am-2.15pm, Tuesday 11.30pm–3pm, Wednesday 8.30am-2.15pm or

Tuesday 8.30am-12.30pm, Thursday & Friday 8.30am-2.15pm

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: £9.00 - £9.35 per hour (including paid lunch breaks) depending on qualification and experience
