A rare opportunity has arisen for a part-time Early Years' Practitioner at Stockton House School working with 3-4-year olds.

Stockton House School is a unique working environment, based in a large Victorian manor house set in acres of mature grounds. We offer forest school-style activities, focus heavily on outdoor-based learning, working together as a team to ensure that each and every child in our care receives the very best in Early Years’ education and achieves their full potential.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Experienced Early Years’ Practitioner
  • A full and relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Childcare;

Desirable Job Requirements:

  • Paediatric First Aid;
  • Team player; and
  • Safeguarding Children Level 3.

Daily Duties:

  • Work together as a team
  • Plan, prepare and deliver the Early Years’ foundation stage through in-the-moment planning
  • Act as keyperson to a small group of children
  • Work closely with parents and outside agencies
  • Assist with lunch duties on a rota-basis

You must be enthusiastic, friendly, self-driven and proactive in your thinking and be able to offer new ideas based on your previous experience.

The scheduled working hours will be term-time only, approximately 21 hours per week over 4 days (days to be confirmed).
